Atomic Matters

Created by scientists from the fields of atomic physics, solid-state physics, and the physics of magnetism, ATOMIC MATTERS is a computer application that combines a wealth of unique scientific tools. The software predicts the macroscopic properties of materials by using the physical properties of atomic electron systems. Visual display of calculation results, including full interactive 3D potential visualization, an intuitive user interface, powerful tools, and comparative data features make a gentle learning curve for new users.

IDEA

EXPLAIN THE ORIGIN OF MAGNETIC, ELECTRONIC, THERMODYNAMIC, AND SPECTROSCOPIC PROPERTIES OF MATERIALS CONTAINING TRANSITION-METAL IONS WITH AN UNCLOSED p, d, f ELECTRONIC sub-SHELL (e.g. 2p/3p/3d/4d/5d/4f/5f-electronic system)

Computation Systems

ATOMIC MATTERS and ATOMIC MATTERS MFA Computation Systems are packages of unique tools for describing the physical properties of atomic electron systems with an unclosed electron shell, under interaction with the electrostatic potential of definable symmetry, external magnetic fields, and inter-ionic magnetic interactions (Atomic Matters MFA only)

Tools for scientific calculation of localized electronic states of ions/atoms in solids. Simulation of magnetic properties, absorption spectra and thermodynamic properties of materials containing specified ions. All in one intuitive application.

Unified calculation methods for all naturally occurring ions/atoms in one intuitive computer application. Quantum calculations of single-ionic properties of ions/atoms as well as simulations of macroscopic properties in a defined temperature region of the containing crystal.

Interactive, scientific work space with advanced visualization methods on interactive 2D and 3D plots. Hierarchical tab structure for parallel work and convenient comparison of calculation results.  Knowledge database of ionic/atomic properties of materials.

Prediction of properties of novel, technologically significant materials and discovery of materials for new unique applications.

ATOMIC MATTERS combines a package of unique tools to fully and accurately describe the physical properties of atomic electron systems subjected to electromagnetic interactions typical of situations in which an unclosed electron shell  (e.g.  2p, 3p, 3d, 4d, 5d, 4f or 5f -electronic systems) interacts with the electrostatic potential of definable symmetry and an external magnetic field.

Testimonials

"I am expressing my heartfelt thanks to prof. dr hab. R.J. Radwański for introducing me to atomic physics and to everyone who participated in the software creation process: Jakub Zygadło, Marek Karaś, Edyta Osika, Anna Jurczyk, Tomasz Sanecki, Andrzej Wronka, Tadeusz Moroń, and others too numerous to mention. Without you, this project would not have come to fruition. I sincerely thank you for your work."

"I am submitting special gratitude to Mr.Władysław Włodarczyk and Mr. Miłosz Włodarczyk for business support, and the given help in the critical moment."
